What this is
This policy sets out what you may not do with TruePoint Agents products. It forms part of the Terms of Service, and breaking it is a breach of them.
We may update this policy at any time by publishing a new version. Where a change materially restricts what you may do, we will email account holders at least 30 days beforehand.
This policy is written in English. We may publish translations, including a Spanish translation, to help you read it. A translation is provided for convenience only. If a translation and the English version conflict, the English version governs.
1. Nothing illegal
Do not use our products to break the law, or to help anyone else break it. This includes fraud, money laundering, trafficking of any kind, and the sale of controlled substances or weapons where that sale is unlawful.
Child sexual abuse material results in immediate termination without notice and a report to law enforcement. There is no warning, no appeal, and no refund.
2. Nothing you have no right to hold
Do not store, upload or transmit anything you lack the right to hold — including material that infringes someone's copyright, trademark or trade secrets, and personal data you had no lawful basis to collect.
Copyright complaints and our repeat-infringer policy are in section 12a of the Terms.
3. Regulated data is prohibited
Our products are general-purpose record-keeping tools. They are not designed, certified or contracted for:
- Protected health information under HIPAA. We hold no Business Associate Agreement with
anyone and will not sign one.
- Cardholder data. We are not a PCI-DSS compliant environment. Never put card numbers into a
record.
- Government identity numbers — Social Security numbers and equivalents.
- Children's data covered by COPPA. Our products are for business use by adults.
- Classified or export-controlled material.
If you store any of it anyway, you do so entirely at your own risk and you indemnify us for the consequences under section 12 of the Terms.
4. No unsolicited messages
We do not do cold outreach ourselves and we will not host yours. Do not use our products to send, prepare, or manage unsolicited bulk messages of any kind — email, SMS, or anything else — or to store lists compiled for that purpose.
If we determine you have, we may charge US$500 under section 5 of the Terms, terminate the account without refund, and report the activity and your identity to anti-abuse organisations.
5. Do not attack the service, or other customers
Do not attempt to reach another customer's data, probe or scan our systems, defeat any limit or authentication, reverse-engineer or decompile the products, scrape them, or overload them.
Do not resell or provide access to third parties without our written agreement.
6. Not a backup service, an archive, or file storage
Our products hold the records they are built to hold. Do not use an account as a general store for files, archives, media libraries or backups of other systems.
Where storage use materially degrades the service for others, we may remove the material, and we may charge a reasonable fee if you later ask us to produce copies from our own backups.
7. Resource limits
Fair use, with numbers, so that suspension is predictable rather than arbitrary:
| Limit | Enforced as |
|---|---|
| Attachment size | 10 MB per file |
| Attachments per record | 20 per record |
| CSV import size | 1,000 rows per file |
| CSV export size | 10,000 rows per file |
| Webhook endpoints | 10 active per account |
Every limit above is enforced by the product itself, so you meet it as a clear message rather than as a suspension.
Sustained use that materially degrades the service for other customers is a breach of this policy if it continues after we ask you to stop. Where an account consistently exceeds these limits we will normally offer a larger plan before we suspend anything.
8. Answer us
If we email you about abuse, security, or a breach of the Terms, respond within 48 hours. Silence is itself a ground for suspension — we cannot investigate an account we cannot discuss with the person responsible.
9. Treat our people decently
Threats, harassment or abuse directed at anyone working for us is grounds for immediate suspension or termination without refund. Disagreeing with us, loudly, is not — say what you think about the product freely.
10. What happens when this policy is broken
Depending on what happened, and at our discretion, we may: ask you to stop; remove or disable the material; suspend the account while we investigate; or terminate it.
Where the situation allows, we tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. Where it does not — where the material is unlawful, where a delay would cause harm, or where our systems or another customer are at risk — we act immediately and tell you afterwards.
Termination for breach carries no refund, and section 13 of the Terms governs what happens to your records. Where an account is closed for breach there is no export window, so keep your own export rather than relying on getting one later.
11. Reporting abuse
Tell us at support@truepointagents.com. Include what you saw, where, and when. We read every report, and we would rather hear about a problem from you than from the person it harmed.
